Rescue

Due to the increase in the popularity of the Bernese Mountain Dog there are now many unregistered, x-bred and poorly bred puppies being born. This unfortunately has a very negative affect on our breed and we now seeing more and more dogs turning up in rescue, many have been abused and neglected and may have some health and temperament problems. If you feel an older dog would best be suited for your family and lifestyle, and you have lots of time and love to give, please contact the National Clubs rescue committee for more information on adoption.

If you are not ready for a dog but would like to help please send a donation to any of the Bernese clubs, every little bit is very much appreciated and the dogs thank you.
